  • Chick-fil-A will hold a three-day pop-up event at Singapore's Esplanade Mall from June 26 to 28.
  • Attendees can enjoy the Original Chicken Sandwich, Waffle Potato Fries, and a drink by donating S$10 to the Community Chest.
  • This event marks Chick-fil-A's first step into the Asian market, with plans for further expansion in the region.

Singaporeans are in for a treat this June as the renowned American fast food chain, Chick-fil-A, makes its first foray into the Asian market with a highly anticipated pop-up event. From June 26 to 28, the Esplanade Mall will host this exclusive event, offering locals a chance to experience Chick-fil-A's famous menu items.

Founded in 1967 by S. Truett Cathy, Chick-fil-A has grown into one of the largest fast food chains in the United States, known for its Original Chicken Sandwich, Waffle Potato Fries, and exceptional customer service. The chain's expansion into Singapore marks a significant milestone as it explores new international markets.

Event Details and Registration

The pop-up event will be held at 8 Raffles Avenue, #01-13C, The Esplanade Mall, Singapore 039802. Operating hours are from 11 am to 2 pm and 3 pm to 7 pm on all three days. To manage the expected high demand, pre-registration is required, starting on June 3. Details on the registration process will be available on the event's Instagram page.

Menu Highlights

Attendees can look forward to savoring Chick-fil-A's signature Original Chicken Sandwich, which features a breaded boneless chicken breast, pressure-cooked in 100% refined peanut oil, served on a toasted, buttery bun with dill pickle chips. The meal will be complemented by the crispy Waffle Potato Fries and a refreshing drink.

Supporting a Good Cause

In lieu of a meal cost, Chick-fil-A is encouraging visitors to donate S$10 to the Community Chest. All donations will be matched dollar-for-dollar by Chick-fil-A, with proceeds going towards empowering those in need. This charitable initiative underscores the company's commitment to giving back to the community.

Future Plans and Expansion

Chick-fil-A's entry into Singapore is part of a broader strategy to expand into five international markets by 2030, with new outlets planned for Europe and Asia by 2026. The company has already established a head office in Singapore and is actively recruiting for key positions, signaling its long-term commitment to the region.

Hugh S. Park, Chick-fil-A’s Head of Asia Pacific, shared, "We are looking at several possible locations throughout Asia, including Singapore, to set up shop." This pop-up event serves as a precursor to potential permanent outlets in the region.

The upcoming pop-up event at Esplanade Mall is a unique opportunity for Singaporeans to experience Chick-fil-A's beloved menu items and contribute to a worthy cause. With its strong brand identity and commitment to quality, Chick-fil-A is poised to make a significant impact on the Singapore food scene.
