Retail analysts attribute this growth to aggressive promotional campaigns and improved delivery infrastructure, which have allowed retailers to reach more consumers beyond traditional urban hubs.

Department stores and fashion outlets have continued to struggle with subdued footfall, particularly in high street locations.
